Borgo Egnazia showcases a masterful interpretation of traditional Puglian design with its maze-like pathways, central piazza, and hand-worked local stone throughout. Designer Pino Brescia created interiors that honor local traditions through a contemporary lens, using a soothing monochromatic palette of creams and whites punctuated by artisanal textiles and ceramics.

Hundreds of handcrafted objects, from woven baskets to ceramic pendant lights, create richly textured spaces that feel both timeless and fresh. The thoughtful lighting design—with countless candles, lanterns, and subtle fixtures—creates a magical atmosphere after sunset. Throughout the property, fragrant gardens with native Mediterranean plants, ancient olive trees, and flowering bougainvillea enhance the sensory experience of this remarkable reimagining of Puglian village life.
